「The ELISA kit using this antibody is manufactured and marketed by コスミック・コーポレーション, with us as the manufacturer. The notification for manufacturing and marketing the in vitro diagnostic reagent (product name: Glucagon ELISA “Cosmic” II) was accepted; see the “Notice Regarding Notification of Manufacturing and Marketing of an In Vitro Diagnostic Reagent” published on 6 August 2024. We have also begun selling this antibody as a raw material for in vitro diagnostic reagents to overseas diagnostic-reagent manufacturers.」
The notification for manufacturing and marketing the in vitro diagnostic reagent for the pancreatic glucagon assay was accepted, and sales of the raw material to overseas diagnostic-reagent manufacturers also began. - FY2023AdvancedAnnual report
「Together with Gunma University, we are developing an in vitro diagnostic reagent for measuring serum glucagon levels, and have begun selling it as a research-use reagent ahead of the regulatory approval process (22 August 2022). We will continue research and development aimed at applying for approval of the in vitro diagnostic reagent in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2024.」
The pancreatic glucagon assay reached the stage of sales of a research-use reagent and advanced to development aimed at applying for approval of an in vitro diagnostic reagent in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2024. - FY2021First statedAnnual report
「The development of a pancreatic-glucagon-specific assay using 2 antibodies specific to both terminal regions has enabled accurate assessment of blood glucagon concentrations and suggests the potential for this to become an independent new marker for diagnosing diabetes and its pathophysiology. Together with Gunma University, we are developing an in vitro diagnostic reagent for measuring serum glucagon levels.」
A theme aimed at developing a pancreatic-glucagon-specific assay using 2 antibodies into an in vitro diagnostic reagent through joint research with Gunma University was described for the first time.
