Items this document does not state (13)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The increase in revenue and core operating profit was attributable to higher product sales, including Enhertu and Datroway, development milestone income, and foreign exchange effects from yen depreciation. The decline in operating profit was due to non-core costs, including business reorganization costs for the EU Specialty Business Unit. The decline in net profit reflected lower operating profit, deterioration in finance income and costs, lower share of profit or loss of investments accounted for using the equity method, and higher income taxes.
