Reason for the revision

Although the revision of drug prices had a negative impact on generic drug sales, revenue is expected to remain firm due to the effects of sales promotion activities and other factors. On the profit side, the company had conservatively factored in higher prices for related raw materials resulting from escalating tensions in the Middle East, but each profit measure is expected to exceed the original plan due to some of the impact of cost increases expected in the first half and the signing of a new licensing agreement and the related costs being deferred to the second half, among other factors.

Previous-period resultsResults for the same period of the previous year (second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026): revenue of ¥31,229 million, operating profit of ¥1,247 million, ordinary profit of ¥1,131 million, interim net income of ¥831 million and interim earnings per share of ¥97.40
