The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue increased on growth in Leqembi, Lenvima and Dayvigo, while one-time items, including ¥15.1 billion in proceeds from the transfer of product rights recorded in the previous fiscal year, declined substantially in the current fiscal year. Operating profit was affected by higher selling, general and administrative expenses, including investment in Leqembi, restructuring costs in Europe and an increase in the shared profits from Lenvima, as well as by the decline in one-time gains recorded in the previous fiscal year. The materials also disclose a ¥5.55 billion increase in operating profit from lower research and development expenses and foreign exchange movements.
