The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue and all profit items exceeded forecasts for the interim consolidated accounting period, as the results of growth investments made since fiscal 2025 and the steady performance of existing businesses drove earnings. Overseas, sales and royalty revenue related to RADICAVA, cefiderocol and ViiV grew, while sales of Quviviq and other products increased in Japan. The company also expects to expand its rare disease business through the acquisition of IntraBio and continued growth in Quviviq.
