Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

In trust services, identity verification services, electronic signature services and device certificate management services grew, while revenue from SSL/TLS server certificates declined due to the shortening of certificate validity periods and the temporary suspension of issuance. In platform services, Linux support, EMLinux, security consulting and contract development related to the automotive industry grew. Operating income increased as the effect of higher revenue exceeded the increase in personnel expenses and other costs, while interim net income attributable to owners of the parent increased due to the absence of the extraordinary loss associated with the head office relocation and the effect of tax-effect accounting.
