The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Growth was driven by identity verification services and electronic signature services for partners in the electronic certification services business, device certificate management services, Linux support, EMLinux and professional services. While net sales remained solid, overall expenses, including personnel expenses associated with the increase in headcount, also rose. Net income benefited from the absence of the extraordinary loss related to the head office relocation recorded in the previous fiscal year, as well as the effects of tax-effect accounting.
