The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Although net income attributable to owners of the parent declined in the fiscal year ended February 2026 due to impairment losses and other factors, consolidated net sales reached a record high since the Company's founding. In light of progress in strengthening its stable earnings base through the expansion of its recurring-revenue business, the Company determined that it was appropriate to return profits to shareholders. For the fiscal year ending February 2027, the Company plans to increase the dividend in order to enhance long-term, stable returns to shareholders, taking into account its earnings outlook and dividend policy.
