Revenue from Fandom Tokyo exceeded ¥220 million, and in SES, the monthly average number of employed engineers in operation increased by approximately 10 year on year as a result of active hiring.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Although the e-book market continued to expand, billing revenue declined due to intensifying competition and a decrease in the number of active users. Revenue from Manga BANG Comics, cross-border e-commerce and SES increased as a result of expanding advertising inventory, anniversary events and campaigns, the production of original works, the expansion of the cross-border e-commerce site “Fandom Tokyo,” and the hiring of IT personnel.
