「In April 2023, we added support for the common number (common short code) used by Japan's four mobile carriers for the two-way SMS function. Previously, companies needed to prepare separate numbers for users of each of the four mobile carriers when sending and receiving SMS messages with individuals. With support for the common number, companies can use a single number to send and receive SMS messages for identity verification, important notifications, business communications and promotions.」
