The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The February 2026 field testing of the development-stage model identified areas for improvement, including display and operability features that made it difficult for users to intuitively recognize the device as a translator, as well as sound pickup performance in environments with substantial surrounding noise. The purpose of this testing is to complete final verification of ease of use for both users and staff, as well as speech recognition and interpretation performance in a real-world environment.
