Reason for the revision

For the second quarter (interim period), revenue, operating income and ordinary income are expected to substantially exceed the previous forecasts, mainly because numerous projects involving the core MI・RA・Is product series, for which revenue had been scheduled from the third quarter onward, went into operation ahead of schedule. Although an impairment loss related to the new Doctor Connect business is expected to be recorded as an extraordinary loss, interim net income is also expected to exceed the previous forecast. For the full year, the forecasts for revenue, operating income and ordinary income have been revised upward, primarily reflecting the factors behind the interim-period revisions, while the forecast for net income has been left unchanged due to the recognition of the impairment loss.
