Reason for the revision

Large-scale projects in the SP Events segment, large equipment delivery projects for permanent exhibitions in the Video Equipment Rental segment, and equipment rental projects for the entertainment industry progressed smoothly, and cumulative second-quarter net sales are expected to significantly exceed the initial forecast. For the full year, second-half net sales are expected to weaken because some production resources will be allocated to orders scheduled to be recognized next fiscal year, but the forecast was revised upward because cumulative second-quarter performance remained firm.

Previous-period resultsSecond quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2025: net sales ¥5,845 million, operating profit ¥708 million, ordinary profit ¥778 million, interim net income attributable to owners of the parent ¥547 million, interim earnings per share ¥41.22. Full year of the fiscal year ending February 2025: net sales ¥13,419 million, operating profit ¥1,756 million, ordinary profit ¥1,909 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent ¥1,303 million, earnings per share ¥98.59.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

For the cumulative second quarter, net sales and all profit measures are expected to exceed forecasts, as large-scale projects in the SP Events segment, large equipment delivery projects for permanent exhibitions in the Video Equipment Rental segment, and equipment rental projects for the entertainment industry all progressed smoothly. For the full year, second-half net sales are expected to weaken as some production resources are allocated to orders scheduled to be recognized next fiscal year, but the full-year forecasts for net sales and all profit measures were revised upward because the cumulative second-quarter performance was firm.
