Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

Revenue and profit increased significantly due to large projects using “Stream CORE” in the OTT segment. Revenue growth at VideoStep and アイ・ピー・エル’s performance exceeding plan also contributed. The increase in costs was contained through restraint in hiring additional personnel, expense reductions and more efficient organizational management, resulting in a 0.7-percentage-point year-on-year improvement in the gross profit margin. Meanwhile, orders for related production and customer acquisition services decreased in pharmaceutical EVC.
