「The Group recognizes consideration for the global environment, development of the working environment and respect for human rights as important management issues in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility for the sustainable development of society, and undertakes related actions across all business activities, including the supply chain. However, if environmental pollution, occupational health and safety issues such as workplace accidents, or human rights issues such as discrimination against foreign workers arise despite the Group's efforts, social trust in the Group may decline, and business activities, financial position and results of operations could be materially affected through the suspension of transactions by customers or withdrawal from some businesses.」
For the first time, separately identifies environmental pollution, occupational health and safety issues, and human rights issues as CSR risks that could lead to reputational damage, suspension of transactions or withdrawal from businesses.
