Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

Cloud integration acquired small- and medium-sized projects and AI and data analytics projects, but revenue declined because some projects were delayed until the second half of the fiscal year. MSP revenue declined due to the impact of contract reviews, including customer insourcing. Cloud license resale revenue increased due to growth in the number of new contracts and higher usage fees under existing large-scale contracts. Expenses increased because of the use of external development resources, higher purchases of AWS, Azure and other services, and increased personnel and recruitment expenses resulting from investments in human capital.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Sales in cloud license resale increased due to growth in the number of new contracts and higher usage fees under existing large-scale contracts. In cloud integration, outsourcing costs increased due to the use of external development resources, purchases of AWS, Azure and other services increased alongside the expansion of license resale, and personnel and recruitment expenses in the sales division increased as a result of investments in human capital.
