Items this document does not state (13)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The pace of growth in the number of engineers slowed following a change in the engineer hiring policy, utilization declined in the first half, and some large projects ended or were downsized while the start of replacement projects was delayed. In addition, higher labor and personnel expenses and other costs associated with the increase in headcount, shareholder benefit expenses and AI investment are expected to weigh on profit.
