「The secretariat consists of project members from across the company, including the technology, manufacturing, human resources and general affairs, and corporate planning departments. Covering the business activities of the entire domestic group, it monitors and analyzes sustainability items, including the status of reductions in carbon dioxide emissions (electricity and fuel) and the status of human-capital investment, considers future initiatives for each item, and reports its activities to the Sustainability Promotion Committee at least once a month. The Sustainability Promotion Committee deliberates on these reports, issues instructions as necessary, and reports to the Board of Directors.」
