「We resolved to acquire from our wholly owned subsidiary SMAP ENERGY LIMITED (hereinafter, “SMAP”) all contractual relationships and other arrangements relating to the SMAP smart-meter electricity data analytics SaaS, centered on “SMAP DR,” which provides demand-response functions to electric power companies, among the businesses operated by SMAP. This will consolidate the functions related to product development and sales in the Energy Data Business within our company, enabling us to strengthen sales expansion through more efficient management of development and sales resources. Following the transfer of this business, SMAP intends to focus on identifying investment opportunities for the “Decarbonisation Tech Fund” operated by our company. In line with this, SMAP is scheduled to change its name to “ENECHANGE Innovation Limited” around October 2022.」
