Reason for the revision

In the semiconductor segment, the core business of the high-purity chemicals business, sales have remained solid, particularly for semiconductors for AI applications, and price increases have been implemented to reflect higher raw material prices. As a result, net sales are expected to exceed the initial plan. Shipments of potassium fluoride in the electronic materials segment have also remained strong due to increased demand from data centers, and each profit figure is therefore expected to exceed the previous forecast.

Previous-period resultsNet sales ¥36,288 million, operating income ¥4,338 million, ordinary income ¥4,161 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent ¥2,892 million, and basic earnings per share ¥241.00
Dividend forecast revisionThe year-end dividend has been increased from ¥85.00 to ¥95.00 per share (¥85.00 ordinary dividend and ¥10.00 110th anniversary commemorative dividend). The annual dividend has been increased from ¥170.00 to ¥180.00 per share.
