The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.A proposal for the appointment of outside officers will be submitted to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Each candidate is expected to supervise and advise on the directors’ execution of their duties from an objective and neutral standpoint and to perform duties as a member of the Audit and Supervisory Committee. As none of the candidates falls under the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s independence criteria, they have been designated as independent officers.
