Items this document does not state (8)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Profit growth was driven by price pass-through, expanded sales of high-value-added products, higher sales volumes, an improved product mix, and cost improvements achieved through factory efforts. In addition, a gain of ¥262 million was recognized from the reversal of the retirement benefit reserve due to a change in the discount rate accompanying higher interest rates. Fixed costs, however, increased by ¥169 million. The reason the forecast for the fiscal year ending April 2027 was left undecided was the heightened uncertainty regarding the procurement environment for raw materials and fuel, rising costs, and demand trends resulting from the situation in the Middle East.
