The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the cashless services business, use of online charging services per existing customer increased, driving recurring revenue. In the digital signage-related business, the impact of longer delivery times due to customer circumstances was offset by capturing new demand. In the cashless services business, growth in highly profitable recurring revenue, a lower contribution from low-margin spot revenue and cost controls contributed to profit growth. In the solutions business, however, higher server and outsourcing costs were a negative factor for profit.
