Enhancement and changes to the shareholder benefit program

Decision28 July 2026
Period CoveredThe August 2026 record date, and each February and August record date from the February 2027 record date onward
ImplementationPartially implemented from the August 2026 record date. The ¥1,000 digital gift for shareholders holding 400 or more but fewer than 800 shares will apply only to that record date. The new program is scheduled to apply from the February 2027 record date onward.
Going forwardThe new program will apply beginning with benefits for shareholders holding 400 or more shares who are recorded in the shareholder registry as of the end of February 2027. The Company will promptly announce any matters that arise requiring disclosure.
AmountAugust 2026 record date: shareholders holding 400 or more but fewer than 800 shares will receive a digital gift worth ¥1,000; shareholders holding 800 or more shares for less than 6 months will receive ¥5,000; and shareholders holding 800 or more shares for at least 6 months will receive ¥10,000. From the February 2027 record date onward: shareholders holding 400 or more but fewer than 800 shares will receive ¥5,000, and shareholders holding 800 or more shares will receive ¥10,000. The annual amounts will be ¥10,000 and ¥20,000, respectively.
Quantity / scaleThe minimum shareholding required to qualify for the benefit will be lowered to 400 shares. Continuous ownership for at least 6 months means being recorded twice consecutively in the shareholder registry under the same shareholder number as of the record dates.
Reason

To express appreciation for shareholders' continued support, enhance the investment appeal of the shares, increase the number of shareholders over the medium to long term, achieve the KPI of doubling the number of individual investors over 3 years, curb short-term share price volatility on the ex-rights date, and strengthen shareholder returns. As operating profit for the first quarter is exceeding the internal budget and progressing favorably, the Company will implement its shareholder return measures ahead of schedule.

Impact on Business Performance

The impact on results for the current fiscal year, ending February 2027, will be immaterial.
