The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the Games and Comics business, cost reductions from more efficient operation of existing titles and lower research and development expenses following the completion of new development contributed to higher profits. In the Entertainment and Lifestyle business, the provision of systems for major projects and IP performed well, while the consolidation of CRAYON and PAPABUBBLE also contributed to strengthening the business foundation. Meanwhile, the company will not disclose an earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027, as it considers it difficult to calculate reasonable figures given the short-term uncertainty in the business environment for the Games and Comics business and its policy of continuing to invest in other businesses.
