Reason for the revision

For the first data center project in Japan and the first in Australia, deliveries of servers and other equipment have been delayed, pushing the start of revenue recognition from service provision into the fiscal year ending March 2027. Meanwhile, service volumes for additional orders exceeded expectations in response to strong demand for use. In addition, the non-recognition of ¥818 million in share-based compensation expense, lower interest payments due to the borrowing balance being below the assumed level, and the non-recognition of ¥2,304 million in depreciation and amortization expense affected profit.

Previous-period resultsFiscal year ended March 2025: net sales ¥2,942 million, operating loss ¥496 million, ordinary loss ¥169 million, net loss attributable to owners of the parent ¥654 million, and negative earnings per share of ¥37.40

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

For 2 data center projects, deliveries of servers and related materials have been delayed by heightened geopolitical risks and the construction boom in AI data centers, pushing the start of service revenue recognition into the fiscal year ending March 2027 and resulting in a reduction to the net sales forecast. Meanwhile, profit forecasts have been revised upward due to service volumes for additional orders exceeding expectations, the non-recognition of ¥818 million in share-based compensation expense, and lower interest payments resulting from the assumed borrowing balance being below expectations, among other factors.
