The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue declined in the fiscal year ended May 2026 because paperboard sales volumes decreased year on year. Although prices for recovered paper, the company's main raw material, remained stable, profit declined due to higher labor costs and equipment maintenance expenses. Going forward, the company will work to establish a production structure aligned with demand, reduce costs, maintain appropriate pricing and develop new customers amid expected increases in fuel and material prices.
