Stacked from zero: upward is an increase in cash, downward a decrease (in ¥ thousand). The net change represented by the dotted line is the total of three items, calculated from figures provided by the company.
In the ERP Business, inquiries from new customers remained solid, orders exceeded the plan set at the beginning of the period, and implementation projects progressed, along with higher average customer spending through cross-selling. In the Project Management Business, new customer acquisition, upselling to existing customers, an increase in large-scale projects and lower depreciation related to product development investments made in previous fiscal years contributed to results. Although the Database Development Tools Business made progress in shifting to a subscription-based model, this was insufficient to offset the decline in the traditional perpetual-license model, resulting in lower sales and profit. The decrease in interim net income attributable to owners of the parent was due to the ¥79.3 million gain on changes in equity interest recorded in the same period of the previous year.
