The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Several M&A transactions were not pursued because agreement could not be reached on their terms, and the selection and negotiation of new candidates is taking time. At subsidiary ミライヲツナグ株式会社, the launch and monetization of the business, the market introduction of new services and the expansion of the customer base have fallen below the initial plan. At subsidiary テノーラ株式会社, the review of specifications and verification of business operations relating to system development and business expansion have caused delays against the initial schedule. In addition, proceeds decreased because some of the Series 42 stock acquisition rights were not exercised and were cancelled.
