「The Company received a written request dated 19 June 2019 from Komaneci Co., Ltd. to cancel the solar power plant transfer agreement because it had been unable to raise the funds to acquire the plants. Area Energy Co., Ltd. subsequently held repeated negotiations with Komaneci to realize the transfer, including discussions of specific measures to resolve the grounds for cancellation, adjustments to the number of plants to be transferred, and the treatment of cancellation penalties. Ultimately, the negotiations were unsuccessful and the transfer agreement with Komaneci was cancelled.」
The transfer agreement for 5 solar power plant projects was cancelled because the buyer could not raise funds, leaving the Company unable to secure the source of funds for payment of the investment acquisition consideration.
