Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

Revenue from SI services declined due to the transition from the development phase to the maintenance and operations phase following the completion of large-scale projects, as well as reviews of IT investment budgets by some customers. Revenue from software development increased as the company won quasi-mandate contracts for the renewal of core systems and other projects for existing customers, while product sales increased due to orders for large-scale IT equipment sales projects. On the profit side, profit margins declined due to higher personnel, training and advertising expenses, among others, and the company recorded a ¥62 million loss on the sale of fixed assets.
