The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. To further enhance returns to shareholders, the Company clarified its progressive dividend policy and determined the dividend based on the target of a DOE of 3.5% or more set out in the Eighth Medium-Term Management Plan. The reasons for the amendments to the Articles of Incorporation are to respond to the expansion and diversification of business domains, increase flexibility in the management structure, strengthen corporate governance, and promptly reflect shareholders’ intentions in management. The accounting auditor was changed after comprehensively considering the need for audits from a new perspective, expertise, independence, quality control systems, and the appropriateness of audit fees.
