The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The consolidation benefits from シルバーエッグ・テクノロジー and アタラ were supplemented by growth in existing businesses, while higher productivity and cost reductions in existing businesses absorbed the costs associated with the first year following the M&A. The shortfall against the forecasts was attributed to delays in the progress of the commerce construction project in the fourth quarter and additional amortization expenses recorded following the finalization of the PPA for the acquisition of シルバーエッグ・テクノロジー.
