The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue growth was driven by productivity gains from using proprietary AI developed in-house, higher unit prices for contracted development, growth in SaaS revenue, and strong demand for acceleration services from the automotive and semiconductor industries. The effect of higher revenue absorbed increases in personnel costs, headcount, head office relocation costs, research and development expenses, and other costs, resulting in higher operating profit. Net income declined due to the reversal of a tax benefit associated with the liquidation of a subsidiary and extraordinary losses related to the head office relocation.
