The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The Company explained that the main reason for the decline in revenue was a temporary weakening in shipments of its core products, as the pass rate for pachislot machines in certification tests conducted by the Security Communications Association remained low in the amusement market. It also said that research and development expenses increased because development costs for the edge AI semiconductor “Di” were incurred as planned, putting downward pressure on operating income.
