The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The main factors behind the decline in revenue were the end of transactions with a major low-profitability customer at the subsidiary プラウドエンジン, a reduction in headcount and the end of a major prime contractor project at 駅探I&I, and a decline in the number of paying subscribers as route-planning services became commoditized. Operating profit improved through reductions in personnel expenses, commissioned work and outsourcing costs, and the in-house execution of operations.
