「Going forward, MRI will support the design and effectiveness verification of regional demonstrations and the development of data and EBPM platforms through co-creation with local governments, agricultural organizations and companies, helping evolve agricultural policy DX from a system for submitting applications into a system that shapes the future of local communities.」
MRI has proposed using agricultural administration data to simultaneously achieve local governments’ regional planning and farmland consolidation, improved productivity for farming entities, and reduced administrative costs and evidence-based policymaking (EBPM) at the national level. It has identified support for regional demonstrations and the development of data and EBPM platforms as future initiatives.
