The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

The contract-based business recorded lower revenue due to the backlash from the early shipment of AI translators in the previous fiscal year and the failure of AI solution projects to gain momentum. Some businesses improved, however, supported by the SaaS business achieving profitability and higher revenue, improved production efficiency in the ODM business, and the aiwa business for proprietary products returning to profitability. The net loss was affected by an extraordinary loss arising from a provision for estimated costs following the decision to consolidate the headquarters sites of the operating companies.
