The Company will integrate PayB functionality into JA Bank ATMs and use the multi-readers and other equipment installed in those ATMs to read QR codes on payment slips bearing the Local Tax Unified QR Code (eL-QR) or barcodes on payment slips for payments at convenience stores and other locations. The resulting “ATM PayB” service will enable users to initiate payments for taxes, public utility charges, mail-order purchases and other amounts payable to PayB participating merchants using a JA Bank cash card, for both individuals and corporations, or cash. The service will be rolled out sequentially from February 2027.
