The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In the Sewing Business, results benefited from increased demand for workwear, innerwear, and cut-and-sew products, as well as higher factory utilization and productivity driven by increased orders. In the Lamination Film Business, results were affected by the completion of material supply for customers’ hit products, which had contributed in the previous fiscal year, the downturn in the Chinese economy and consumer spending, and inventory adjustments by some customers. For the next fiscal year, the company plans to expand and optimize production capacity in ASEAN countries and elsewhere, and advance the development of smart factories through the introduction of MES and ERP systems.
