The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.LOWYA benefited from the opening of physical stores, OMO initiatives linking its own e-commerce site with physical stores, and the launch of new products. The gross profit margin improved as a result of price revisions for certain products and stronger product appeal and brand value driven by the OMO strategy. DOKODEMO was affected by the abolition of the U.S. de minimis threshold and the requirement for online consultations when selling designated drugs subject to abuse-prevention controls, among other factors. Regarding the business transfer, the company stated that, against a backdrop of growing international instability and higher logistics costs, it determined that transferring the business to リードヘルスケア was the best way to maximize its future value.
