The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the LOWYA business, revenue was driven by the opening of physical stores, OMO initiatives combining the company's e-commerce platform with physical stores, and the launch of new products. Operating profit exceeded expectations, supported by new-product sales driven by OMO initiatives and stable control of the cost ratio. The DOKODEMO business, meanwhile, was affected by the abolition of the US de minimis tax exemption threshold.
