Items this document does not state (10)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. For the fiscal year ended March 2026, higher revenue from thermal spray processing (non-consolidated) and overseas subsidiaries, a lower variable cost ratio, subsidy income, and a decrease in inventory valuation losses pushed up ordinary profit. In contrast, increases in personnel expenses, depreciation and amortization, and R&D expenses weighed on profit. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, continued strength in the semiconductor and FPD businesses is expected to be the main driver of revenue growth, while wage increases, higher headcount, capital investment, and foreign exchange effects are expected to weigh on profit.
