「In 2019, we took the initiative in establishing the Laser Construction Study Group. As of the end of April 2026, 130 companies from across the industry had joined, including researchers from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, professors from universities, laser manufacturers and major general contractors. In addition to establishing safety guidelines for using high-power lasers outdoors, we have worked with government agencies to develop JIS standards with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and conduct joint research with the Public Works Research Institute, a national research and development agency under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, thereby developing rules for social implementation.」
