Agreements reached under this partnership
Business Alliance- 1
STORES will provide ジグザグ’s “WorldShopping BIZ for Cart” through “STORES Online Shop,” its online shop creation service, strengthening cross-border e-commerce functionality so that overseas consumers who became fans of Japanese stores and products while visiting Japan can continue making purchases after returning home (“after the trip”).
- 2
Businesses will be able to sell overseas to 228 countries and regions simply by applying through the dedicated application form on STORES Online Shop.
- 3
ジグザグ will handle the barriers of language, payments, logistics and laws in their entirety. It will provide multilingual navigation and multilingual customer support in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese, as well as overseas payments and fraud prevention in each country, international shipping, customs clearance and packaging, and compliance with personal information protection requirements and overseas consumption taxes in each country.
- 4
Stores only need to ship products to a warehouse in Japan. Because the service uses a prepaid model in which funds are received from overseas customers in advance, stores bear no foreign exchange or payment collection risk and do not need to change their existing domestic operations.
- 5
This is an “owned e-commerce, end-to-end” model that does not redirect customers to an external marketplace. Because purchases are completed within the store’s own website, stores can sell while preserving their brand identity and relationships with fans, and purchasing data will accumulate as an asset of the store.
