「As a Tier 1 supplier to construction- and agricultural-machinery manufacturers, sales of mass-production machinery products such as urea SCR sensors and module tanks complying with emissions regulations remained firm. Sales of mass-production machinery products to Chinese construction-machinery customers were also strong, bringing net sales to ¥3.116 billion, up 4.5% year on year. However, operating profit declined 35.1% to ¥117 million because ship-related earnings that had contributed to the previous year's performance dropped out.」
