The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Weather conditions were favorable in April and May, and same-store sales remained above 100% of the level recorded in the same period of the previous year. The company addressed rising food prices through price revisions and the use of procurement channels across a broad area, while higher revenue enabled it to absorb increases in labor costs, recruitment expenses, utility costs and other expenses. Conditions were challenging in June because of typhoons and heavy rain.
