The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

SG&A expenses increased due to higher sales promotion expenses, employee base-pay increases, the holding of an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting, and changes in the classification of expenses associated with freight costs and changes in accounting standards. In the watch business, inventory declined as sales initiatives were strengthened, and store sales grew on strong inbound demand, while e-commerce sales were constrained by inventory allocation. In the bicycle business, the e-commerce site and stores were closed at the end of October 2025.
