「Beginning with the current interim consolidated accounting period, we changed the reporting segments to clarify the business content and strategy of each segment, allocate management resources efficiently, improve transparency in business operations and the accuracy of performance management, and make disclosures to the capital markets clearer. The former reporting segments of performance chemicals, machinery and materials, and overseas subsidiaries were reorganized into four new segments: fine chemicals, industrial products, sustainability, and life sciences.」
