Net sales and gross profit increased due to expanded sales associated with an increase in cases, particularly in the cardiovascular and orthopedics fields, and the acquisition of new customers. However, selling, general and administrative expenses increased due to personnel costs resulting from hiring and base-pay increases, as well as higher logistics costs resulting from increases in delivery rates and shipment volumes. As a result, operating profit, ordinary profit and profit attributable to owners of the parent decreased.
